About Dr. Lori Golon:

Dr. Lori Ann Golon is a pediatric physician who has served the Leavenworth Community for the majority of her time as a physician. She was born and raised in Anaheim California. After high school, she moved to St. Louis Missouri to go to nursing school at Barnes Hospital, which has since been renamed Barnes Jewish Hospital. She received her RN diploma and worked as a nurse in Shawnee Mission, Kansas for over 13 years. During that time, she also attained her BSN. Her passion for providing healthcare lead her to pursuing and completing medical school at the University of Kansas Medical Center. She started practicing as a pediatric physician in Leavenworth on July 1, 2001. While this was initially supposed to be only a 4-year-term, Dr. Golon fell in love with the patient population, became owner of the practice, and moved to Lansing. During her time in the Leavenworth/Lansing area, she has also been the president of the Medical Executive Committee at Saint John's Hospital. She is getting ready to start her 20th year here and feels honored to provide care to the children and families at her practice.
